Brayden Espeland

Brayden graduated from South Dakota State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agronomy with a Minor in Precision Agriculture. He accepted a full-time position working for “Crops Plus” where he stayed busy with Precision Planting technology, crop consulting, variable rate mapping, and seed. Through internships and full-time employment, he worked along side Jon Hofer for 8 years before purchasing the business that is now known today as “Horizon Agronomy and Seed LLC”.

Brayden’s background is extensively tied to agriculture as he grew up on a small family farm in Selby, SD for a short time before landing in Pierre. Agronomy isn’t simply a job for Brayden but rather a passion and lifestyle. He works tirelessly to ensure his clients have everything they need to find success on their individual farms each and every day. The services provided today are crop consulting, variable rate zone management, and seed. Every farm operation is unique and Brayden understands that. Today, he works along side growers to help fulfill their farming needs and reach their goals on the horizon.
