Dekalb Corn and Milo
Variety and hybrid selection can be a difficult task when analyzing all your options. Seed, like anything, is constantly changing and there are many key components to consider; we are here to help with the selection process. We approach our clients with an “agronomy first” focus. That means, we are here to offer so much more than just simply seed. We offer insight and recommendations (seed placement, population, drought tolerance, etc.) for seed based on trials and personal field studies. We want to provide you with as much information about our products so you can confidently decide what variety or hybrid is going to provide you with the greatest ROI. We understand seed isn’t a “one-size fits all” approach which is why we study our products extensively. Plot data is great but we also look at how our products perform on high and low productivity areas; irrigated and dryland acres; varying types of soil; and at varying populations. Crop scouting goes hand-in-hand with seed placement as it allows us to see our varieties/hybrids across a large array of acres.
